МЕТОДЫ ДИАГНОСТИКИ В ОРТОДОНТИИ
The aim of this study is to compare the results of functional examination patients with painful syndrome of TMJ dysfunction and people with physiological occlusion without signs of TMJ dysfunction. In study groups the difference was identified between myography and kinesiography values, analyzed torque and symmetry index values. The frequency of mandibular displacement regarding neuromuscular trajectory was defined in patients with TMJ dysfunction.
The index for evaluation of malocclusion extent was developed. Depending on the index value the malocclusion extent can be defined and the best treatment plan for patients with skeletal class II or III can be chosen (either orthognathic surgery or orthodontic camouflage). The suggested method can be used as an express method in diagnostics and treatment planning in patients with malocclusion.

The treatment choice of deep overbite/overjet is quite diverse in modern orthodontic practice. The variety of devices for the treatment of this malocclusion is extensive. There are no clear indications, depending on its severity, and the criteria of their application. The aim of this work is to define criteria for selecting items for the treatment of deep bite\overbite, combined with sagittal occlusion anomalies.
The wide spread of herpes virus type 4 explains a new form of its chronic activity, as the corresponding glossitis. The increasing number of patients and inadequate diagnosis of specific glossitis are the cause of generalization of the virus in the body, the choice of the wrong treatment regimen, aggravation of complications of orthodontic treatment in particular.
Anew method of device lengthening of maxilla in patients with unilateral congenital cleft of the upper lip and palate during the period of mixed dentition for further orthognathic surgery - closure of the cleft of the alveolar process of the maxilla.
The research results of mixed saliva, namely proteins of non-specific sIg A immunity and lysozyme, in patients with non-removable stainless steel bracket system showed that in 40% of cases after three months treatment local immunodeficiency develops, which determines antibacterial therapy and professional oral hygiene within the timeframe
Dental crowding treatment by «QUADROtech» method using only «BIO-EDGE» tetrahedral nickel-titanium archwires (GC Orthodontics) from the very beginning of the active stage of orthodontic treatment improves its quality, having the optimal force impact on teeth without causing the development of apical root resorption
Currently, construction materials of various kinds are widely implemented in orthodontic practice. However, their chemical composition and surface microrelief determine the potential of the material for adhesion of conditionally pathogenic microorganisms inhabiting the oral cavity. A special danger in the development and progression of pathology of the dental system is represented by fungi of the genus Candida, which have an extensive set of pathogenicity factors. The aim of the study is to research and compare the ability of Candida albicans to formbiofilms on polyurethane braces. C. albicans strains were used from the collection of ATSS. It was found that the growth rate and functional activity of C. albicans strains allow them to form a large volume of biofilm on the polyurethane of braces, which may be associated with the creation of additional retention points by destroying the surface structure of the material.
