The purpose of the present research is to make an analysis of salivation rate and pH-indicator of saliva in all ages of patients with general somatic diseases and symptoms of intolerance to the structural materials of dentures. We have examined 508 patients from 20 to 89 years old with general somatic diseases, who had complaints of intolerance. We have identified 4 ages’ groups. Based on our research we have established precise correlation between salivation rate and volume saliva, as well as the pH-indicator of the oral fluid in the group of patients with complaints of intolerance depending on age of patients. We have revealed that the salivation rate and pH-indicator of saliva go down in this group of patients especially in elderly and senile ages.
