Endoperiodontal lesions: the role of the dental pulp state in the prognostic aspect Summary of surgical treatment in chronic periodontitis patients (literature review)

Abstract

The goal of this study is to examine scientifi c publications on surgical methods for treating patients with chronic periodontitis (CP) in various dental pulp conditions. We studied 540 clinical and 120 experimental cases of chronic periodontitis in the area of teeth with viable pulp and after endodontic treatment in humans and animals. The analysis of the study materials revealed the inconsistency and inconsistency of the evidence base, as well as the relevance of additional research in this direction.
