Treatment of children with congenital bilateral cleft lip and palate using traditional method and a new technique of early orthodontic treatment
Abstract
The article presents an improved method of early orthodontic treatment of children using "Dental obturator for orthodontic treatment of children with congenital complete bilateral cleft lip and palate". It helps to prevent secondary deformation of the intermaxillary bone and fragments of the upper jaw. The period of children hospitalization in the maternity hospital as well as the time of operation is reduced due to the use of this device. Child care at home is also facilitated.
