Evaluation of the anatomical parameters of bone tissue in the region of the infrazygomatic crest for assessment of potential zone for the insertion of miniscrews

Abstract

In this study, we evaluated the thickness of bone tissue in the region of the infrazygomatic crest at the level of teeth 1.7, 2.7 in 10 projections according to CBCT data obtained using Pax-i3D 10x8.5 (Smart). The potential area has been identified for insertion of miniscrews to create a stable skeletal anchorage during orthodontic treatment.
