Assessment of local oral immunity in orthodontic treatment with stainless steel bracket system
Abstract
The research results of mixed saliva, namely proteins of non-specific sIg A immunity and lysozyme, in patients with non-removable stainless steel bracket system showed that in 40% of cases after three months treatment local immunodeficiency develops, which determines antibacterial therapy and professional oral hygiene within the timeframe
