Possibilities of using orthodontic implants in treatment of skeletal Class II occlusion

Abstract

The indications for conservative methods of treatment in patients with skeletal Class II occlusion and the main advantages that doctors achieves when using this technique are considered. The article presents the results of treatment with a bracket system using mini-implants, as well as a description of the method for installing mini-implants. We describe how due to the integrated use of orthodontic miniscrews and braces it is possible to achieve higher efficiency and reduction the time of complex treatment. Aim: To conduct a systematic review of research and the use of mini-implants in orthodontic practice for the treatment of skeletal Class II occlusion.
