Analysis of errors in the diagnosis of supernumerary teeth in dental patients
Abstract
The data of the results of the analysis of the examined group of dental patients with a missing permanent tooth in the anterior region of the upper and lower jaws are presented. Revealed a pattern, the consequence of which was hyperdontia. Having determined the clinical disorders of the eruption of permanent teeth, as well as the violation of the symmetry and parity of the eruption, it is possible to assume the presence of a supernumerary tooth, based on an X-ray examination, thereby preventing the development of dentoalveolar anomalies in the future
