Study of morphological and positional interrelationship between the maxilla, Summary upper teeth and the sphenoid bone
Abstract
The infl uence of the position and morphology of the bones of the base of the skull on the formation of the facial skull is still insufficiently studied. We examined the sphenoid, the maxilla and position of the upper teeth using cone-beam computed tomography. Correlation analysis confi rmed the connection between morphology and position of the sphenoid bone and position and morphology of the maxilla, as well as teeth inclination.
