Evaluation of the effectiveness of osteopathic procedures in the retentional period of orthodontic treatment according to Brux Checker survey and analysis
Abstract
Based on the results of the dental system screening survey andBrux Checker, both before and after osteopathic correction of patients in theretentional period, the effi cacy of the procedures of the osteopath, treating thesepatients, was studied. The Brux Checker analysis of patients before and after theosteopathy procedures indicates a change in the nature of the occlusion regimentowards the increase in the number of occlusal contacts after the session of osteopathy. Theresults of the study suggest that osteopathic support is possible as an auxiliaryelement in the retentional period of orthodontic patients.
